Set in present day NZ we meet 40-somethings confronting the difference between the dream and the reality, where their past mistakes are coming back to haunt them.
Nora and Theo would appear to be the perfect family with 2 children, a boy and a girl, living off the grid in a new home, albeit only half built. Theo discovers he has won a big contract to build an eco-village – then gradually everything starts to unravel. Just as in Ibsen’s play the themes are about the struggle for integrity and conflict between duty to oneself and duty to others.
A dynamic script, with a talented all Blenheim cast, directed by Pam Logan and Tamara Henry, which promises a riveting night at the Theatre.
