Footrot Flats - The Musical

The much-loved characters of Wal, Dog, Cheeky, Aunt Dolly, Horse, Cooch, Prince Charles, Dolores and others are coming to the Boathouse Theatre this November.

They tell a classic tale, which is even older than number 8 wire, of town vs country. This hilarious production features songs that could only come from New Zealand such as “Rattlin' Your Dags”“Scones, Pikelets, Pavlovas” and “Wear Yer Old Sou'wester”.

Written by Roger Hall with music by Philip Normanand song lyrics by A K Grant, the musical is based on the original characters created by Murray Ball.
Directed by Duncan Whiting this is the forth production in Marlborough Repertory Society’s 70th year celebrations.
